  1. I am sorry, but I just do not see the value of this item, unless you are a Lottery winner that has antediluvian tastes. I have a Faber Castell E-Motion pencil that is great to write with, which almost justifies the acquisition cost of just under £50, but I feel that GvFC are taking the mickey with this at almost £190. Yes, it looks quite smart with its platinum plated bits, but at the end of the day, these are wooden pencils and however you wrap them up, they are still wooden pencils. OK, so I still use a wooden pencil occasionally but Staedtler-Noris sell very good ones at about a fiver for ten pencils and the American Ticonderoga ones are very good too and a darn sight cheaper. So unless you are buying a gift for someone that has absolutely everything else [and frankly I can think of loads of gifts for circa £200 that would be preferred to this] I cannot see this shifting except in dribbles and drabbles.
