Omas Noir Collection

There are some new Omas coming to town very soon, and here they are...

Dedicated to the most refined and demanding man, the Noir Collection reinterprets the dodecagonal Arte Italiana model, OMAS brand icon, through a play of contrasts which make it unique.

The black Cotton Resin is embellished with a fine guilloche engraving characterized by a rice grain pattern, which emphasizes the classical nature of this model and highlights the modernity of the Black Ruthenium trim, a novelty in OMAS production.

Classicism and modernity, past and future meld to a timeless object, handed down from one generation to the next always keeping its newness.

In 2013 OMAS certifies the following pieces:
- 331 for piston filled fountain pen The Paragon model and converter/cartridge fountain pen, roller ball and ball point Milord models
- 31 for mechanical pencil Milord model

Our next Pen Evening - 8th March

We've long thought that pens don't have the space they deserve, so they're moving from the rather congested centre of the shop to the virtual Serengeti of the back - more space, more light, more towers, more pens.

We'll be celebrating this with a special Pen Evening on Friday, 8th March from 6.30 pm.

All our old friends will be there, and maybe some new ones. There will be at least one preview of a much anticipated new pen, interesting refreshment and a warm welcome. No excuses - there's plenty of time to book a hotel!

Vintage Pens: Mentmore

Mentmore pens were made in Hackney, East London, UK, between the 1920's and the mid 1950's. They are attractive, exceptionally well-made, and were deservedly very popular, especially between 1946 and the mid 1950's. Mentmore also manufactured for several other distributors and they, themselves, also used the brand name of Spot.
